Valeriia Mostenets is a graduate of the Lviv National Academy of Arts and the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. She has collaborated with Gallery 101 in Lviv, is the author of texts on contemporary art, and was the initiator and coordinator of the LvivArtWalk project between 2019 and 2022. Since 2022, she has been collaborating with the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw. Her research interests focus on the use of folk symbolism in contemporary art and on the interpretation of historical events within artistic practice.
