Katarzyna Trzeciak

She is a doctoral candidate at the Doctoral School of Humanities, University of Warsaw. Under the supervision of Prof. Agata Jakubowska, she conducts research on Jewish women students at the Academies of Fine Arts in Warsaw and Kraków in the years 1918–1939. Her award-winning master’s thesis, recognized in the ±∞ Zachęta competition and completed under the supervision of Dr Marika Kuźmicz at the Faculty of Visual Culture Management, Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw (2021), constituted a contribution to the study of the artistic oeuvre of Resi Schor (1910–2006). She is a co-curator of the exhibitions Gałganiara. A Study of the Figure of Eufemia (Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, 2024) and I Love Three Things in Life: Cars, Alcohol, and Sailors. Untold Histories of Women Students of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, 1918–1939 (lokal_30, 2021).
