Monika Stobiecka is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Artes Liberales of the University of Warsaw, and a graduate of the Institute of Art History and the Institute of Archaeology of the University of Warsaw. In recent years, Stobiecka has collaborated with the National Museum in Warsaw, the Zachęta – National Gallery of Art, the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw, and the Museum of Architecture in Wrocław. Awarded the Diamond Grant of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education in 2014, holder of scholarships from the De Brzezie Lanckoronski Foundation (2016), the Kościuszko Foundation (2018, scholarly residency at Stanford University), and the Foundation for Polish Science (START 2019 scholarship). Her interests embrace museum studies, critical studies on heritage, and new tendencies in the humanities.
